Kasuga-taisha Shrine
This shrine is famous for having Japan's largest number of lanterns, with 2,000 stone lanterns and 1,000 hanging lanterns within its premises. Its Torii is also one of the oldest in Shinto and helped influence the style of Torii seen across much of Japan.
