FAQ

Q: Can I review a location even though I am a resident of that country/city?

A: Yes! However, please provide the review from a traveler’s point of view (i.e. omit any regular customer perks at your favourite restaurant; moving around will be from a traveler’s point of view).

Q: I am experiencing website lag, slow loading times and error messages. What’s wrong?

A: Slow loading times may be due to server-side problems. Rest assured, we will be upgrading our servers as and when our user traffic increases. Error messages may be due to a system glitch or incomplete page. If you encounter persistent issues, please contact us on email at admin@theguidemaster.com or message us at https://www.facebook.com/theguidemaster or https://www.instagram.com/theguidemaster/.

Q: Can I create any review page I want?

A: For categorization purposes, all country or region/state pages (including special regional cities) can only be created by Guidemaster admins. Also to avoid overlap of reviews, please DO NOT create city borough or district pages (i.e. Manhattan borough for NYC, or Jurong estate for Singapore).

Q: I’m having trouble finding or selecting my created review page’s category and/or parent page.

A: You can use the “Category Type” to filter out the suitable category for your review page. If you are unsure which parent page to choose, simply select the most appropriate page (or the country/region page) as the parent and we will amend if required.

Q: Why can’t I edit information on some review pages?

A: For now, only admins or the creators of a review page are allowed to edit info on the review pages. If you have spotted any error, kindly contact us and we will get on the issue as fast as we can.

Q: I have suggestions/feedback/collaboration ideas for your website. How can I contact you?

A: You can email us at admin@theguidemaster.com or telegram us at https://t.me/theguidemaster. Alternatively, you may message us at https://www.facebook.com/theguidemaster or at https://www.instagram.com/theguidemaster/.

We are open to any collaborations, and also welcome insights to any area we can improve, especially extreme sports (e.g. mountain climbing) where we lack exposure. Please note that due to resource constraints or other reasons, we may not be able to implement some suggestions. Thanks for your understanding!
