Constructed to host the aquatics competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the Beijing Water Cube was renovated soon after into a new state of the art waterpark, and is now one of the top attractions in Beijing with a wave pool, lazy river, spa, water slides and various rides.
