The Stanley Hotel (The Shining Hotel)
This Colonial Revival hotel is the inspiration for Stephen King’s best-selling novel turned horror film, The Shining. Opened in 1909 by Freelan Oscar and Flora Stanley whose ghosts are still said to roam the building, this hotel is considered one of the most haunted places in the USA.
