Six Flags New Orleans (Abandoned)
This theme park was opened in 2003 but closed just prior to Hurricane Katrina making landfall on August 2005 and never reopened due to serious damage from flooding. It is now abandoned and is a popular filming location for dystopian or apocalyptic films.
