Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge
This wildlife refuge in southwest St. Croix is a protective area for several threatened and endangered species, especially the leatherback sea turtle. It is also the filming location for the closing scene in the Shawshank Redemption, taking the identity of Zihuatanejo beach in Mexico.
