Raub (Pahang)

Previously a gold mining town, Raub turned to agriculture, especially durian farming, to boost its economy after the gold mines were depleted. Today, it is considered the "Durian Capital of Malaysia" and attracts tourists from the region and China for its premium durians, including the Musang King (Mao Shan Wang) variant.
