Räbechilbi Richterswil (Turnip Lantern Festival)
This turnip lantern festival originated from a traditional folk custom of carving turnips into beautiful lanterns every year in November, some which are setup in giant sculptures and displayed or paraded around town. Concerts, light shows, and market stalls also supplement this centuries-old event.
