Nazca Lines
This group of very large geoglyphs were made in the soil of the Nazca Desert between 500 BCE and 500 CE by local indigenous tribes, and vary greatly in size and design. Some shapes are so big they measure 1.1 km across, best viewed from a low-flying plane, and are famous tourist attractions.
