Lençóis Maranhenses National Park
This enormous park along the northeastern coast of Brazil is known for its rolling sand dunes. The valleys among the dunes fill with freshwater lagoons during the rainy season, creating a unique spectacle. There is also a whole range of wildlife viewing, plus land and water-based activities to do within the park.
