Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon)
This "red lagoon" is actually a shallow salt lake whose red color is due to red sediments and pigmentation of some algae in the water. It is also dotted with tiny white borax islands and is a popular feeding ground for hundreds of flamingos who come here for the rich supply of plankton.
