Glacier National Park
This enormous national park near the Canadian border encompasses part of the Rocky Mountains and has a rich abundance of flora and fauna. Unlike its name suggests, the glaciers within the park have mostly disappeared over the last 12,000 years with the last ice age, leaving behind only the majestic mountains and steep canyons they carved in their wake. The park is now a popular destination for hiking, scenic views including the Going-to-the-Sun road that cuts through the heart of the park, and limited winter sports.
