Daintree Rainforest
This tropical rainforest once covered the entire Australian continent 120 million years ago, but has been greatly reduced in size due to climate change. Named after Richard Daintree, an Australian geologist and photographer, the area consists of tropical rainforest, walking trails, outdoor attractions, pristine beaches, and fringing reefs.
