Borgund Stave Church
This former parish church was built between 1180 and 1250 AD, with its name derived from the vertical wooden boards "staves" used for its walls. Its unique architecture served as inspiration for much of Disney's Frozen animated film's building design, and it is now a museum and tourist attraction.
